We collect ZERO data from your arthik installation.

3. Self-Hosted Architecture

arthik's self-hosted nature means:

Your financial data in arthik is stored as:

• CSV Files: Plain text format stored on your filesystem
• Unencrypted by Default: Files are not encrypted to allow easy manual editing
• Local Only: Files never leave your infrastructure
• Your Responsibility: You control backup, security, and access

5. Website Analytics

This documentation website (arthik.nihars.com):

• May use basic web server logs for operational purposes
• Does not use analytics services like Google Analytics
• Does not use advertising or tracking cookies
• Does not collect personal information from visitors

6. Password Security

Your arthik installation password:

• Is hashed using SHA-256 before storage
• Is stored only on your local system
• Is never transmitted to us or any third party
• Should be changed from the default immediately after installation

7. Third-Party Libraries

arthik uses Chart.js for visualizations, loaded from a CDN. This means:

• Your browser may request Chart.js from a public CDN
• The CDN may log this request (standard web server behavior)
• No personal or financial data is transmitted with these requests
• You can host Chart.js locally if you prefer complete isolation

8. Data Sharing

We do not share any data because we do not have access to any data.

Since arthik is self-hosted:

• No data is shared with us, the developers
• No data is shared with third-party service providers
• No data is sold or monetized in any way
• You control all aspects of data sharing
